Minutes, resolutions and signing

The document that remains once the meeting is over and everyone has forgotten it

From meeting to document

Minutes are not a summary of what was said; they are the document read a year later, in a dispute or a review. The platform issues them from a template the company has approved, or written by hand, then has them signed electronically and kept with their versions — nothing printed, nothing emailed round.

  1. Issuing

Minutes from an approved template, filled with what happened, or written by hand where the meeting calls for it.

  2. Review

The secretary and whoever else needs to read them do so before signing, and the versions are kept.

  3. Electronic signature

Signatures are requested inside the platform, and who has signed and who has not is tracked until it is complete.

  4. Archiving

The signed minutes and their resolutions go to the company archive, and can be exported to Musahm Vault.

What that means

  • No third copy

One version in force, earlier ones kept rather than deleted.

  • Signed in place

No printing, no scanning, no attachment travelling between members.

  • Resolutions by circulation

Choosing the signatories, requesting signatures, completing them, approving.

  • Ready for review

What an external auditor asks for is there, with its date and its signature.

Why Musahm

From the meeting to a signed document kept with its versions.

  • Issued from a template

An approved template, or written by hand where needed.

  • Reviewed with versions

Before signing, and the versions are kept.

  • Signed electronically

Who has signed and who has not is visible until it is complete.

  • Archived

The minutes and their resolutions in the company archive, or into Musahm Vault.
